KABUL: Suspected Taliban militants launched a massive attack at a check-post in southern Afghanistan's Helmand province in which at least five policemen and 22 militants were killed, Xinhua reported.
The attack that began around 3 am in Regi area of Musa Qala district lasted for four hours, provincial spokesman Daud Ahmadi said.
Several militants fled the scene after additional forces arrived.
