In April 2007 27-year old Kaushiki Chakrabarty was touring in the Netherlands. I interviewed the celebrated ragasinger from Calcutta in Amsterdam, just before the start of her concert tour. Five days later she ended her tour with a dazzling performance in Amsterdam. In this short film Kaushiki tells about her music and career and footage is shown of her fantastic concert in Amsterdam (on tabla there is Subhashish Bhattacharjee and on harmonium is Vyasmurti Anandteerth Katti). In the mix there's also a lot of nice pictures and excerpts from her great album 'Pure' (2004) and her exciting 3-cd-album 'Kaushiki' (2007).
